From now on tube changing will be a piece of cake by applying our sliding-dropout. Two guided slides, which can be moved forward and backward in their guides to tension the drivebelt, serve as the attachment for the rear-wheel. By use of the forward tilted opening axis mounts the axis can be moved backwards while wheel mounting. As a result the belt is brought automatically into its initial preset tension. To cut a long story short, you will never be forced to adjust the belt tension again while changing the tube! The dropout is also equipped with the Schindelhauer-Belt-Port. A finely brushed stainless steel plate covers all clamping screws which fix the slides into place. Despite the concentration of technology in such a confined spaces, we have achieved a clean look, which is of particularly great importance to us. Adjusting screws enable the adjustment of the belt tension and the alignment of the rear-wheel. Both mechanisms are fully integrated within the slide concept. In this way, the system is very user- and mechanic-friendly in operation.
