It shall be noted hereby that all bikes shipped by Schindelhauer Bikes do not meet German road traffic regulations.

Regarding all links posted on this site, we explicitly state that we do not assume any liability for external links and content on this website. We do not have any influence over content and/or design of these external websites and do not adopt this content as our own.


1. General / Purview

1.1 The company c2g-engineering GmbH leads the distribution of the brand Schindelhauer and shall be referred to as Schindelhauer Bikes hereafter. Schindelhauer Bikes processes all orders on the basis of the following general terms and conditions. These General Terms and Conditions shall apply exclusively. No conditions proposed by the Customer or conditions differing from those indicated in our General Terms and Conditions will be accepted, unless approved of by us in writing in individual cases.


2. Offers and Acceptance

2.1. All specifications of Schindelhauer Bikes products are correct at the time of printing. They may be revised and updated at any time by Scindelhauer Bikes. This applies particularly to all images, technical drawings, dimensions, weights, product specifications and prices published in context with all Schindelhauer Bikes products. A warranty of any kind cannot be given and all errors remain reserved.
2.2. Schindelhauer Bikes reserve the right not to fulfil customer order requests on this website. By ordering items (through clicking the button “order now”), the Customer submits a binding tender to conclude a contract. Contract formation shall take effect upon acceptance of the tender by Schindelhauer Bikes by sending a confirmation of order within two business days. Otherwise, the offer shall be considered rejected.


3. Pricing and Payment

Prices quoted on the internet are in Euro (EUR) and include the statutory value added tax. The Customer may choose between the following payment methods: Advance payment, credit card payment or PayPal. Further information regarding payment methods are available during the checkout process.

4. Shipment / Reservation of ownership

4.1. The customer is required to pay all shipping charges. Shipping charges are outlined as additional costs during the order process and appear on the bill separately. In case of shipping abroad the additional fees will be charged to the Customer as appropriate. Further custom duties, taxes and charges arise for shipments outside of the EU may also be levied to the Customer as appropriate.
4.2. If the Customer is responsible for an undelivered shipment, they shall have to bear any and all additional costs. Shipments shall be considered undelivered if no eligible recipient of the goods is met upon delivery and the retrieval period has past, the receipt is rejected by either the intended recipient or an eligible person or the recipient cannot be found under the stated address.
4.3. Delivery times stated on our website or in our order confirmation refer to the time within our order confirmation, however, in case of advance payment only by the time we receive a credit note. Delivery times may differ abroad, depending on the shipping company.
4.4. The Customer can make no demands upon Schindelhauer Bikes due to delay by act of nature beyond control (force majeure), strike, incorrect or delayed supply to Schindelhauer Bikes or other unforeseeable disturbances caused through no fault of ourselves.
4.5 The goods shall remain the property of Schindelhauer Bikes until the purchase price has been paid in full. Third party access to goods subject to retention of title shall be reported to us immediately by the Customer. The Customer is liable for all costs that may arise in the resolution of such seizures, especially by filing third party proceedings, as long as the disbursement of expenses cannot be obtained from the third party in question.

The withdrawal period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the last lot or piece.

of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement (e.g. a letter sent by post, fax or e-mail). You may use the attached model withdrawal form, but it is not obligatory.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (with the exception of the supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.

We will collect the goods. You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods. The cost is estimated at a maximum of approximately 50 EUR.

You will be liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from their handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

In the case of returning items from Germany we will bear the direct cost of returning the goods provided that you use the return label attached in the envelope on the package.

Please do not dispatch any return goods not prepaid. We shall gladly compensate for any postage beforehand, as long as you are not legally obligated to do so.

6. Warranty

6.1. Please check the delivered goods immediately for obvious defects in material or manufacture or transport damage. You need to inform us of any defects or faults with the goods immediately so that we can take remedial action as quickly as possible.
6.2. The right of warranty will be withdrawn if the damage was caused by misuse as in the following context: the object of purchase was used incorrectly (jumps, radical use, crashes); the object of purchase was modified in any way into a configuration which is not permitted by Schindelhauer Bikes; the customer did not follow the instructions of usage, operations and maintenance of the object of purchase. Natural wear is excluded from warranty.

7. Liability

7.1. Full liability: Schindelhauer Bikes shall be liable for malice and wanton negligence. In case of ordinary or slight negligence, Schindelhauer Bikes shall be liable only for breaches of a material contractual obligation, as well as for injury to life, body or health.
7.2. Limitation of liability: Schindelhauer Bikes, in case of ordinary negligence, shall only be liable:
b) limited to the reimbursement of the foreseeable, typically occurring damages at the time of contract formation
This limitation of liability shall also apply in favour of Schindelhauer Bikes’ secondary agents.

8. Data Privacy

All personal data is treated confidentially as a matter of principle. Data which is required for transacting business shall be stored and passed on to partner companies where this is necessary for order processing. A transfer of data for other purposes, especially third-party advertising and marketing, will not occur. Further specifications arising as a result of the privacy policy is accessible on our website.

9. Place of Jurisdiction and Applicable Law

Place of performance and exclusive place of jurisdiction is Berlin. German law applies exclusively.

10. Miscellaneous

Wholly or partly ineffectual or impracticable regulations of this terms and conditions don`t affect validity of the other definitions. The terms and conditions for the B2B can be requested or will be transmitted during business initiation.
